random paranormal share, thoughts on 'the vision' one step beyond.

I find daily evidence that our world is much more amazing than we ever take the time to consider. Today, in a random bit of sharing, a person began describing a car accident they were in perhaps seven years ago. It was bad. She was knocked unconscious and spent seven days in ICU before she came back, with no memories of the accident. Witnesses reported seeing a man extricate her from the vehicle and got her to the side of the road before the car burned up. The man disappeared. Probably not magically, but though multiple people witnessed the man, no one saw where he came from or where he went, and he didn’t stick around to be a hero. One day, when discussing the event with her husband, and wishing she knew more about the mystery man, her toddler said, “That was me, Mommy. They gave me permission to come save you so that you could be my mother.”

Maybe it’s nothing more than a random ‘thing’ toddlers say. Maybe I read more into this than is warranted.  Or, maybe every once in a while we need a car crash to wake us up to the fact there is more going on than we realize. Or maybe, we just need the story of the car crash and the spirit of someone’s future child coming to the rescue. We think we are here for our children. Maybe they’re here for us.
